I can’t stop. They’re just too cute. And the garment combination is neverending. Also, I keep remembering the embroidery thread I haven’t used in a while, and the discovering forgotten scraps of lovely fabric…<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An elf hat and a cozy jacket… yearning for cool weather on a hot South Texas day. Another reason to create a miniature world. You can have any season you want!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The patterns are all by Ann Wood<\/a>, including the doll itself. The jacket and the hat are included in the collection of free patterns and projects of the Miss Thistle Society<\/a>. The shirt under the jacket, ironically, is from the Summer Wardrobe<\/a> (with some added hand-painted trim).<\/p>\n\n\n

Here’s her friend. She was more chilly, so she grabbed a scarf. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The stand is handmade, too. Those I find online are too generic and bland for the asking price, and creating my own was much more fun.<\/p>\n\n\n

Of course, the tiny dolls have their tiny world: a house, books, a cozy reading nook.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
